New Marymoor Park map wins national award

Well, whaddya know? Our hot-off-the-presses Marymoor Park map drew top honors last week at the 2009 ESRI User Conference in San Diego. (ESRI develops Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, which was the technology used in the design of the map.)

The map, which was designed by CORE GIS, won “Best Cartographic Design” in the Single Map Product – Small Format category, coming in first among 900 international entries.

The eco-produced map was a partnership project between Friends of Marymoor Park (FOMP) and King County Parks. Congrats to CORE GIS and thanks FOMP for your continued support of Marymoor Park!
